Huron OPP has charged 75-year-old Clinton Resident with Counselling to Committ Murder following Investigation

They currently remain in custody and identity is not being released in order to protect identity of victim and due to court-ordered publication ban.

Huron County OPP says an individual from Clinton is facing the charge of counselling to commit murder following an investigation.

Police received the report on Monday and with the assistance of the Crime Unit, the Criminal Investigation Branch, charged a 75-year-old with Counselling to commit an indictable offence which was not committed.

They currently remain in custody and their identity is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim and is subject to a court-ordered publication ban.
