On September 3, 2021 at just before 7am the Huron County OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision along Nile Road in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
Officers arrived to find a passenger vehicle had collided with a tree. The driver of the vehicle has been airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The Nile Road was closed between Blyth Road and Lucknow Line for the protection of emergency responders. The road has now reopened.
Members of the OPP Traffic Management and Enforcement unit were assisting at the scene.
