Huron County OPP, in conjunction with Ministry of Transportation Inspectors undertook a 2-day commercial vehicle inspection blitz recently in Goderich and Wingham.
The action saw a total of 57 vehicles inspected, with 46 charges laid and 19 vehicles taken out of service due to deficiencies.
3 commercial plates were also seized, and 32 warnings were issued to drivers.
Similar results were seen at Commercial Vehicle Inspection events in Grey Bruce held back in May.
