Home Sales in the Huron Perth area declined over 11 percent last month with the latest figures released by the Huron Perth Association of Realtors.
In August there were a total of 138 units sold which sits 29 percent below the 5 year average for the month and the same figure below the 10 year mark.
On a year to date basis Huron Perth has seen 1,218 units sold in the first 8 months of the year.
This is a nearly 10 percent decline from 2022.
In terms of pricing the MLS Home Price Index has the cost of a home at $571,500 which is a slight dip of 2.3 percent versus August of last year.
The year to date average price sits at $634,785 which is an 8 percent drop for the first 8 months of the year.
There are currently 468 active listings on the market at the end of August, a jump of just over 20 percent from a year ago.
