The Huron Shores Hospice says the Ontario’s Ministry of Health has approved funding that will see the Tiverton Hospice expand to three hospice beds.
The investment will fund essential nursing and personal support services, ensuring compassionate high-quality care for more residents and families in the region.
Cathy Herbert, Executive Director at the Hospice says they are deeply grateful for this substantial support from the Ontario government and added it will allow them to continue to provide excellent care for their existing residents while expanding their capacity to serve more individuals and families.
The hospice relies on a combination of government funding, community donations, and volunteer efforts to fulfill its mission.
