HuronTel has pledged their support towards the Wingham Hospital CT Scanner campaign.

$75,000 has been donated to help bring a CT scanner to the hospital to support residents in the community and cut down on travel time to get a CT scan.

General Manager Ryan McClinchey says the patients who will benefit from the CT scanner are many of the same people they serve as customers in Huron and Bruce counties, adding its important for them to support the community wherever they can.

The vital digital imaging technology will help enhance emergency care, make the facility more attractive to prospective physicians and reduce travel for patients.
