Grey Bruce Public Health has been notified of a new case of measles coming from an unvaccinated child.
As part of ongoing contact tracing, Public Health has determined one potential measles exposure location linked to the case coming from the emergency department at Brightshores Health System’s Owen Sound Hospital between 4:40pm on April 20th and 10:35am on April 21st.
Those at this location during the time frame are asked to confirm their vaccination status and monitor for symptoms for 7-21 days.
As of April 23rd, 1020 measles cases have been reported across the province.
