Saugeen Shores Police credited a local establishment for helping them catch an impaired driver yesterday.
Around 7:15 p.m. police received a call from the bar saying that a male left in a vehicle after several attempts to convince them to call a taxi.
Police located the male driver, quickly determined that he was impaired, and transported him to the station for breath testing.
The 64-year-old of Saugeen Shores has been charged with impaired operation.
His licence has been suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
