Sarah Keys has been found not guilty in Goderich court who faced arson charges after a fire in Bayfield two years ago.

The fire at Keys home occurred January 7th 2021 on Whys Line just outside of Bayfield and at the time Keys faced charges of Arson for Fraudulent Purposes and Disregard for Human Life.

Keys held onto her plea of innocent throughout the trial.

The Huron County Crown’s office says Keys obtained tenants insurance only three days before the incident but the Judge, M.A Garson says the crowd did not present enough evidence for a guilty verdict.
