The Kincardine and Community Healthcare Foundation has received more support to help expand the hospital and bring in an MRI.
Both the Municipality of Kincardine and Township of Huron-Kinloss have pledged support the foundation towards the expansion.
Kincardine marked a donation of $2,400,000 while Huron-Kinloss donated $600,000 to the foundation.
These recent strings of support have helped $14 million now be raised into the final stretch of funds needed with $4 million left to raise before construction can begin next year.
