Kincardine has taken part in its first ever International Conference on Stakeholder Engagement for Nuclear Programmes.
The gathering held from May 26th-30th in Vienna, Austria saw Mayor Kenneth Craig and other representatives for the municipality to share experiences as a host of Bruce Power with other global nuclear hosts.
26 countries were in attendance to talk about the safe, effective and socially responsible production of nuclear energy.
Mayor Craig says there is a growing international host community network of which Canada is actively leading where we’re learning best practices while influencing national and international policy to ensure the consideration of local perspectives.
