Kincardine & Bruce County lift Total Fire Ban outside of 3 Areas

Northern Bruce Peninsula, Neyaashiinigmiing, & South Bruce Peninsula still not permitted any open-air burning, including campfires, with portable gas or propane stoves only to be used for cooking and warmth. All burn permits there remain suspended.

The Municipality of Kincardine Fire & Emergency Service along with the other Bruce County Fire Chiefs have lifted the County-wide total fire ban that was issued on June 8th.

There are 3 areas that will remain under a restricted fire zone by provincial order.

These communities are Northern Bruce Peninsula, Neyaashiinigmiing, and South Bruce Peninsula.

These areas are still not permitted any open-air burning, including campfires, and portable gas or propane stoves can only be used for cooking and warmth but must be handled with extreme caution.

All burn permits in these 3 areas remain suspended.
