The yo-yo that’s been the on again, off again COVID-19 restrictions has been causing a strain on many businesses and organizations across the shoreline.
Some like No Drama Fitness in Kincardine were forced to close their facility on January 7th in order to meet provincial regulations.
Operator Andy Wilkinson says it’s been difficult to not only for his clients but also his staff who he believes are being the hardest hit.
Businesses like No Drama Fitness and other gyms, recreational facilities, and dine-in restaurants can open at 50 percent capacity as of next Monday.
Wilkinson says people may be surprised to find out when January 31st rolls around that many of the businesses that were forced to close will not be reopening again.
