Businesses in Ontario affected by the most recent shutdown are being encouraged by the Province to apply for grants.

The new Ontario Business Costs Rebate Program will cover up to 100 percent of property tax and energy costs.

In a news release, eligible businesses such as restaurants and gyms must have been required to close for the duration of the shutdown in order to receive the rebate.

Those who operated at 50 percent capacity will receive a payment equivalent to up to half of the costs.

The Small Business Relief Grant will provide eligible small businesses who were impacted by the health measures grants of up to $10,000.
