The Kincardine Children Christmas Campaign is marking 50 years, collecting winter wear and toys for local children.

In that time the program has expanded to include support for anyone in need of help and since 2020, the need has risen with resources becoming more thin and now gift cards are being given out to support families.

Heather Finnie, Coordinator of the Kincardine Children’s Christmas Campaign says this year they’ve adjusted the program once again.

“We want to make Christmas better for kids so we have streamlined it for just families with kids who qualify for our program. They have to be referred through an agency, they need to be referred through a school, a social worker, the food bank. Any of those places can send us a referral.” said Finnie.

Businesses, families or individuals who want to offer their support and make donations for the campaign can visit the office at 801 Queen Street running from November 18th-December 4
