The Kincardine & District Lions Club through members Peter Wolfe and Dianne Pennington presented a cheque to KDSS Representative Andy Ferguson yesterday for $500.
The money is in support of an upcoming Ontario Provincial Girls Single-A Basketball Championship set for November in the area.
The event is being co-hosted by Kindarine District Senior School and Walkerton District Community School.
The donation is to help them with the running of the OFSAA event.
