The Ukrainian Village of Owen Sound charitable organization is looking for volunteers to help prepare a four-unit home for refugees arriving from predominantly Ukraine.
The home is needing things such as cleaning and painting and tradespeople are also welcome to apply.
The roof is needing to be looked at as well.
The group has already received a large furniture donation which will fill most of the home but they are also in need of bunk beds.
Some of the families are expected to arrive in a few weeks.
The temporary housing is intended for 18 to 24 months while the families adjust to their surroundings when they will then be assisted in transitioning into their own accommodations.
