Kincardine driver hit with impaired charge after hitting parked car

A 30-year-old from Kincardine was charged with impaired driving after a collision with a parked vehicle last week.

On Sept. 20 around 9 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a two-vehicle collision along McPherson Crescent. Officers arrived to find one of the involved vehicles was parked at the time. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.

The driver was charged with Operation over 80 milligrams.

This charge includes an immediate 90-day driver’s license suspension and an immediate seven-day vehicle impoundment.

The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton.
