The Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary announced they were thrilled to receive a cheque from the final proceeds from the Geranium Sale held by the local Canadian Tire Store from owner John Sakosek.

The donation of $4100 was from the sale of 4-inch potted geraniums sold at the store between May 12th and 16th.

They say that even though the weather was not perfect and a watering ban was in place, the community is always there to support the event plus Mr. Satosek who made an extra donation.

The Hospital Auxiliary says thanks to those that purchase or donated.

They say they are very fortunate to live in such a caring and supportive community and the money raised will go towards helping supply the Kincardine Hospital with new and up-to-date equipment.
