The Kincardine and Community Healthcare Foundation has reached a milestone in their campaign to help expand and grow the Kincardine hospital.
The campaign has reached $12 million and now is $6 million away before expansion can begin.
The project includes ensuring modern facilities and improved services for patients and families including Bruce County’s first MRI.
The campaign which began in 2022 set the goal to raise $18 million with Capital Campaign Co-Chair Kathryn Freimanis says they are confident that together they will raise the final $6 million in 2026 just in time for the start of the hospital expansion.
