Organizers of the Kincardine Lighthouse Blues Festival are excited to get the event underway.
A number of artists are scheduled to appear at the three-day festival (starting this Friday September 10th) including Jack DeKeyser, Crystal Shawanda, and Samantha Martin.
BIA Manager Rick Clarke says the pandemic has put a damper on festivals and events the last couple of years.
But he says the support of the community is allowing the blues festival to carry on.
Another act appearing is the Bruce County duo Shakey Trill who recently competed in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and finished as one of the seven finalists.
