Kincardine Looking for Input on Past Promenade on Queen in Downtown

Downtown attraction has resulted in the closure of Queen Street, from Durham Market Square to Lambton Street, every weekend from Friday at 5pm to Sunday at 9pm all summer.

The Municipality of Kincardine is looking for residents input on whether the Promenade on Queen that has been setup in Downtown Kincardine for the past two years should continue or not.

The place for people to leave their feedback is at kincardinetalks.ca/promenade-review

The setup involves the closure of Queen Street, from Durham Market Square to Lambton Street, every weekend from Friday at 5pm until Sunday at 9pm through the summer.

Businesses in the area have been surveyed. The response returned support of 70 percent in favour of it continuing this summer.
