Huron Shores Hospice has been the beneficiary of some of the homes being put up on the market.

Co-Chair Cheryl Cottrill was at the Royal LePage offices in Kincardine on Monday to accept a cheque for $1,000 from realtor Keith Battler and his wife Linda.

The Battlers pledged $250 for every home Keith lists in 2021, and during the cheque presentation, they announced they are doing it again in 2022.

Linda Battler says the hospice holds a special place in their hearts.

Monday’s donation brings the total amount to $7,000 to the hospice in 2021.

Cottrill says it has been tough the last couple of years for fundraising and appreciates the support they are getting from the Battlers.
