The Municipality of Kincardine is reminding the public now is the time to submit interest with the municipal and school board election deadline being later this month.
Eligible candidates have until August 21st to file nomination papers with the municipal clerk who are being encouraged to reach out for nomination papers, election information and schedule an appointment to file their paperwork.
Voting in Bruce County will be done using internet and a telephone voting system with paper ballots not being used this year.
The election begins October 19th, closing October 26th wi th residents encouraged to vote early.
