“The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games reserves its rights as an independent not-for-profit organization, to “sanction” its own competition without seeking any approval from any other organization.

The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games has been a loyal supporter of the PPBSO and its bands for 24 years, and we look forward to many more.

Following the constraints imposed by the local Municipality due to “The Big Dig” civil infrastructure project, we can confirm the KSFHG Board has decided to use this unprecedented circumstance as an opportunity to be innovative and pioneering in hosting the PPBSO competition.

The KSFHG Board is pleased to confirm that it has presented the PPBSO with proposed changes to the typical PPBSO Competition format.   PPBSO’s top brass is currently reviewing the feasibility of this revised format.   A format that we as a Board deem to be refreshing and very entertaining to our most valued patrons.

While our teams continue to work and plan this exciting new format together, no further comment will be made via the press.   For any further update(s), please continue to visit our website at www.kincardinescottishfestival.ca
