The Kincardine Scottish Festival is celebrating 25 years, soon to enjoying a weekend long of lively music, workshops and competitions.

The festival is all about preserving, enhancing and celebrating all of Kincardine’s Scottish roots.

Taking place again at Victoria Park, the Scottish Festival returns July 4th-6th.

Tony Doherty, President with the Kincardine Scottish Festival says they’re making sure to provide transportation for those to ensure everyone can attend.

“We have the Saturday activities at Robinson Park which opens at 10am, it’s usually very popular with people. We have a bus for people who are medically challenged to get down there from Victoria Park, we’re taking care of that.” said Doherty.

Admission for the Saturday will be free but those attending are encouraged to bring in a donation in support of the food bank.
