The Municipality of Kincardine has seen plans to develop a 1.7 hectare parcle of land on Golf Links Road move forward.

Bradstones Developments Inc. have received approval of their draft plan of vacant land condominium at Bruce County Council last week.

The development includes 36 townhome units, a private road, visitor parking, a stormwater management pond, and other common residential elements.

Kincardine Mayor Kenneth Craig says with the Muncipality continuing to attract more commercial investments, participarly in the nuclear sector, it’s important that they have an adequate supply of housing to meet the demand.

The Municipality conducted a municipal housing survey last year and received over 1,000 responses.

The development process includes the presentation of numerous reports and studies.

Having provided these detailed assessments, it means Bradstones has entered a formal agreement with the Municipality.

Full details of the plan are available from the Municipality of Kincardine website. (Look for area marked “Bradstones”)
