Kincardine set to hold Welcome Week Event for Newcomers Tue. Sept. 12th 4 to 7pm

The Municipality of Kincardine is taking part in Welcome Week next week.

It is an event held around the globe to encourage connection and support relationships with newcomers to their communities.

Kincardine has partnered with area Immigration organizations to host an open house next Tuesday, September 12th.

Joye Hunt from the Kincardine Refugee Committee speaks to what will be available.

“We would like to be able to show newcomers to Canada, Grey, Bruce or Kincardine, what services are available for them.”

The event runs from 4 to 7pm at the Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street in Downtown Kincardine.

It is open to newcomers to Canada, Kincardine, Grey or Bruce Counties and the general public.
