Kincardine taking part in Welcome Week next week with an Open House

The Municipality of Kincardine is taking part in Welcome Week.

It is an event held around the globe to encourage connection and support relationships with newcomers to their communities.

Kincardine has partnered with the Grey-Bruce Immigration Partnership, YMCA Settlement Services, Families Helping Families, Welcoming Communities, and the Swajan Samanvay Santan Centre to host an open house during Welcome Week next week.

The event on Tuesday, September 12th from 4 to 7pm is being held at the Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street in Kincardine.

It is open to newcomers to Canada, Kincardine, Grey or Bruce Counties. Registration is not required and all ages are welcome.

There will be light refreshments, the ability to connect with others and learn about the services in the community.
