The Kincardine Theatre Guild received their Ontario Trillium Foundation grant.
A cheque presentation was held at the Bluewater Playhouse on Tuesday.
The guild is receiving $37,500 from the Community Building Fund that President Sarah Foster says will help them make upgrades to the theatre and expand their audience.
She says it’s been a tough last couple of years and are hoping to give theatre lovers something to enjoy this year.
Foster says they will ask patrons to wear mask during performances and have also purchased streaming equipment that will bring the theatre experience to those who can’t leave their home.
