This year’s poppy campaign in Kincardine raised $43,234 in support of local veterans.

The local legion thanked the efforts of poppy chairman Dave Carson for running the campaign.

“Dave again has done a wonderful job championing this annual project and we could not have reached this number without his guidance and his tremendous efforts from start to finish,” said John Taylor. “He is certainly our guiding light throughout the poppy campaign.”

The campaign funds go towards veterans in need, as well as those serving in the military, and their families.
