The Kinette Club of Walkerton announced yesterday it had made a $10,000 pledge to the Market Garden project in Downtown Walkerton.
Mark Coleman of the Municipality attended a recent Kinette Club meeting to accept the donation.
The Kinettes have several upcoming fundraisers to support this pledge.
The Market Garden project aims to transform the Durham Street Park property at 312 Durham Street East into a community hub.
