Town of Saugeen Shores holds Volunteer Recognition Event at the Walker House

The Town says it is gladly accepting applications for volunteers for the various committees & groups for after the October 24th election.

The Town of Saugeen Shores celebrated its volunteers with a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the Walker House.

Town Mayor Luck Charbonneau joined council members in recognizing each volunteer and presenting them with a certificate of recognition to thank them for their hard work during the current Council term.

Mayor Charbonneau speaks to the variety of positions the volunteers assisted on.

“There are positions right from the Marine Heritage Society, Municipal Heritage Committee,  we’ve got folks working on Economic Development, working on Planning, the Park 55 Group that does programming for seniors. That’s just to name a few.”
