Lake Huron Coastal Centre looking for Coastal Conservation Youth Corp Volunteers

Program kicks off in Southampton on July 11th to 15th from 9 am until 3 pm with projects to help protect water quality, habitat, including dune restoration, shoreline cleanup, identifying species, and exploring community sustainability.

 

The Lake Huron Coastal Centre is preparing for the return of the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps program and are looking for volunteers.

The Centre has the shovels and work gloves ready and waiting for the return of this vital program this summer.

There is no cost to participate and the youth will have the opportunity to earn 30 volunteer hours through this immersive experience.
