Four more organizations are donating to the second phase of the Lamont Sports Park project.
The Illuminating Dreams Fundraising Campaign announced that Ackert Construction, Carson Supply, Harvey’s/Swiss Chalet in Port Elgin, and Unifor have each contributed $10,000 towards the construction of two new youth baseball diamonds.
In a news release, fundraising campaign co-chair Rob Stanley says he continues to be amazed by the support of the community.
He says as they enter the public portion of the fundraising campaign, they are confident that they will be able to reach their goal of $1.25 Million.
There will be a public viewing of the four newly-constructed ball diamonds this Saturday from Noon until 4.
