The Ontario Liberal candidate in Huron Bruce says her party is much different than in previous years.

Shelley Blackmore is a former teacher and feels a Liberal government can deliver on what residents in the riding need the most.

She says one of them is improvements to health care.

Blackmore says the Liberal party became disconnected with voters in recent years and were able to speak with people who shared ideas of what a Liberal government should be.

Blackmore will go up against incumbent Lisa Thompson of the Progressive Conservatives, NDP’s Laurie Hazzard, Matthew Van Ankum of the Green Party, the New Blue Party’s Matt Kennedy, Bruce Eisen of Ontario Alliance, Ontario Party’s Gerrie Huenemoerder, and Independent candidate Ron Stephens in the June 2nd election.
