Lighthouse Restaurant partners with Home & Community Services to offer Healthy Frozen Meals

Home & Community Support Services Grey-Bruce announced it has teamed up with the Lighthouse Restaurant in Southampton to improve the Frozen Meals on Wheels program which they operate through Grey & Bruce Counties.

The program is transitioning from purchased premade meals to a new line of homemade frozen meals through existing partner in the hot meals-on-wheels program James DiAdamo.

He is the owner and operator of the Lighthouse Restaurant. 30 different delicious & nutritious entres will be offered as well as sides, soups and desserts.

They will also offer vegetarian, gluten free as well as diabetic, low sodium and low-fat options as well.

The Meals on Wheels program recently received a donation from the Community Foundation Grey Bruce from the Eva Leflar Donor Advised Endowed Fund and $2,000 from the Bruce County Beef Farmers.
