The Municipality of Kincardine announced today that the Lions Park Splashpad at the Davidson Centre will reopen in the coming weeks.
They advise that due to the site using a recirculating filtration system for its water, as opposed to municipal water, it means there are extra steps involved to reopen safely.
The staff is receiving training on operations, cleaning, balancing chemicals, and coordinating a public health inspection to ensure it is a safe place to play.
