Today marks Children’s Grief Awareness Day as the Huron Residential Hospice is sharing the message of support to those who can help make a difference in the life of a grieving child.

The hospice says before graduating high school, one child out of 20 will have a parent pass away.

Children who have had someone pass away can feel the loss forever and attempt to continue with school and daily activities but struggle to do so.

Children’s Grief Awareness Day helps shine light of support available.

The Huron Hospice remains available for youth aged 15-29 who could be feeling unresolved grief. Contact Sally at 519-525-6331.
