Brightshores Health System, the South Bruce Grey Health Centre and Hanover District Hospital are getting a boost from the province aimed to reduce wait times.
The provincial government is putting a total of $2,227,500 to perform additional Computed Tomography services and to help clear surgical backlogs through the Incremental Surgical Recovery Fund.
Brightshores and the SBGHC have received funds for additional CT hours support while all 3 hospitals got funding for the incremental surgical recovery funding.
Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Paul Vickers says this investment will help clear backlogs, right here in our own backyard adding he is grateful to Minister Jones and the Ministry of Health for providing this additional support here in our community.
