Premier Doug Ford’s decision to not support a province wide vaccine mandate for Ontario hospitals, instead saying the decision falls on the hospitals themselves, will not see any change locally.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance has said they have no plans to change the mandatory vaccine policy.
The Healthcare Alliance oversees hospitals in Stratford, St Marys, Seaforth and Clinton.
The Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance has also said there will be no changes to their vaccine policy.
Officials with the Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance say around 2 per cent of staff are being lost due to the vaccine policy.
