Bruce Power has partnered with Makwa-Cahill on an agreement on industry fabrication and other strategic opportunities in the energy sector.

Mawka-Cahill is a newly created joint venture that brings Indigenous-owned Mawka Development Corporation and Cahill Constructors Limited together in delivering services to nuclear and energy clients.

The company will operate out of its fabrication facility in Owen Sound.

Bruce Power President and CEO Mike Rencheck says this will create meaningful employment opportunities for skilled workers, and will provide a framework for Bruce Power’s Life-Extension Program.
