The local unemployment rate for the area dropped 0.3 per cent last month, bringing the total to 4.5 per cent.
The monthly numbers from the Four County Labour Market Planning Board shows the overall labour force size increased by 300 in February across the area with a gain of 1300 full time jobs with a drop in part time.
The largest increase in jobs was seen in the goods producing sector and manufacturing.
Forestry, fishing, mining, quarrying and oil saw the largest drop as well as in utilities and agriculture.
