Madison Violet has seen its song “Sweet Desperado” nominated for the CMRRA Song of the Year at the Ontario Folk Music Awards.
The awards recognize outstanding works & contributions of Folk artists & musicians from across the province.
Madison Violet are up against Barbra Lica, Emily Schilty, Julian Taylor and Michael Darcy & the Atlantic Tramps in the category.
The Awards take place on Sunday, October 15th at the Aeolian Hall in London, Ontario.
They are part of the Folk Music Ontario Conference running October 12th to 15th in London.
