The Maitland Recreation Complex is welcoming a variety of minor hockey teams to Goderich this weekend for the Ryan O’Reilly Youth Challenge Cup.
The tournament features U11 teams in both local league and rep level from all around Southern Ontario including the Dresden Jr. Kings from Chatham-Kent, the St. George Generals from Brant County and the Aylmer Flames from Elgin County.
Local communities being represented include Blyth, Brussels, Goderich, Seaforth and Wingham.
The teams are all competing to hoist the Ryan O’Reilly Cup. Games continue all weekend with no cost for admission but donations being accepted. Proof of vaccination required for those 12 years and above.
