As Canadians could be heading to the polls next month, local ridings are getting into gear.
The Huron-Bruce NDP have named Melanie Burrett who will be their candidate in the next federal election.
Burrett is a dedicated school librarian, a longtime NDP volunteer and proud OSSTF ESS member.
Burrett says this election will be tough, adding we all wish we were living in more stable times but right now we need progressive voices more than ever.
