On May 9th, in recognition of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Day, the Bruce County Museum is hosting an artist and documentary screening.
The museum will welcome artists Destiny Roote and Melissa Comyn for a talk on the opening of the art installation Buffalo Women followed by the screening of The Fifth Estate documentary, A Sister’s Promise.
The art installation will be on display at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre from May 1st-31st acting as a tribute and call to action, urging visitors to acknowledge the ongoing crisis.
The event is free to attend.
