Public engagement is now open for a discussion for the Secord Monument.
More community conversations are coming for the month to help provide a further understanding of the issues and to hear suggestions from the public about the future options for monument 2.
Concerns were raised from the public about one of the monument due to the reference to Soloman Secords’ service to the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.
The monuments were put up by patients and friends of Dr. Soloman Secord in his honour.
