A motorcycle driver doing donuts in a parking lot ended up racking a series of impaired driving charges.
On June 1st at around 8:42pm Grey Bruce OPP received a report of someone riding a motorcycle doing donuts in a busy parking lot in Grey Highlands.
When police arrived and spoke with the driver he was displaying signs of impairment and a breath test registered fail.
As a result the 33 year old from Grey Highlands was charged a slew of offenses including;
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while prohibited under the criminal code (two counts)
· Operation while prohibited – legal restriction from any other act of parliament or provincial law
· Dangerous operation
· Resist peace officer
· Drive motor vehicle, no plates
· Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
· Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner
· Operate unsafe vehicle
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
