The Municipality of Kincardine is trying to get ahead of parking issues for this Saturday at Station Beach by encouraging residents to walk, bike or carpool down to the area.

Three events are set to take place at the Beach throughout the day of July 30 beginning with the Ontario Stand Up Paddleboard Series – Westshore Wildcard Paddle Race. The Chantry Chinook Fishing Derby also continues that day, with weigh stations open from 11 am to 2 pm and 7 to 10 pm. Finally, the Kincardine Bulldogs Beach Dance begins at 8 pm.

In order to reduce congestion, the municipality is urging people to find an alternate route down, especially as construction on the volleyball courts at Station Beach continues.
